Responsibilities:
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repair or replacement.
- Install, repair, or replace various types of roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, and metal.
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions.
- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them.
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety guidelines and building codes.
- Clean and maintain work area before, during, and after each job.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a roofer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of different types of roofing materials and their installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

As one of the trusted contractors in the area, our work is very varied. Work will include domestic, commercial, and light industrial sites. In this role you will be tasked with the electrical installation of a range of systems on domestic, commercial, and light industrial projects. We typically operate within an hour and half of Greater Manchester. Occasionally you will need to go further than this. Projects vary in size from a day to a few months.
We are very happy to train and develop candidates from the outset. You will have the opportunity to complete your 2391, Solar training and much more. To be successful in the role you will need to be customer and quality focused with a passion to work to a high standard. You will need to be a strong communicator and you must have a full driving licence.

- Completion of formal apprenticeship. Not a fast-track scheme.

Servicing, repairs, plumbing, heating upgrades and installations will form all or part of the position. Experience is necessary.

We are looking for an experienced Brick layers and Mason to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying and repairing brick and stone structures, such as walls, patios, and walkways. This position requires an individual with a strong attention to detail, an understanding of building codes and regulations, and the ability to work with a variety of materials. The Brick layer and Mason must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction from supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Construct and repair walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
- Lay out patterns for bricklaying projects.
- Cut bricks and blocks to required sizes using power saws and masonry saws.
- Mix mortar, grout, and concrete according to specified recipes.
- Install anchors in walls to hold fixtures such as windows and doors.

7. Carpenter:
Fyka Global Limited is in search of a skilled Carpenter to craft and repair wooden structures, furnishings, and fittings. Your attention to detail and precision will play a crucial role in creating high-quality outcomes.
We are looking for Carpenter and Joiners to join our rapidly expanding team with starts available immediately for the right candidates. We have great variety in our projects, from several large, live domestic projects, multiple site-based contracts for new build apartments and housing developments as well as a long term, government led contract to undertake Fire Risk assessment works, primarily the maintenance and updating of fire doors and casings which also includes replacements and remedial works on over 200 office buildings across the Greater Manchester. Candidates with Fire door install training and certification would be preferable, but not essential.
The ideal candidates would meet the following criteria.
- Motivated and keen to develop with the company.
- Be competent in general 2nd fix- skirting boards, architraves, window boards, door linings, doors, and ironmongery.
- Kitchen installs
- Window and external door install (not essential but preferable)
- Laminate flooring
- Studwork and general 1st fix joinery
- Roofing joinery (preferable)
- Dry lining i.e. plasters boarding (not essential but preferable)
- Transport and Tools Provided
